Vote rigging in second Irish referendum?

‘Where did my 3,000 votes go?’

Apparently the Minister of Environment in Ireland is refusing to answer queries by a man who accuses the Irish government of “loosing” 3,000 votes during the June European elections, and suspects similar irregularities took place during the Oct. 2nd Lisbon referendum.

A Carndonagh man is still demanding answers from Minister John Gormley over why 3,000 of his ballot papers went missing in this year’s EU election.
Outraged Fiachra Ó Luain is appalled he’s written to the Minister of Environment five times over the matter and still hasn’t been given answers over what wrong during the count.
As well as that he claims the recent Lisbon referendum was flawed and he’s written to President Klaus, of the Czech Republic, informing him of the June European election’s ‘irregularities’.

I suppose we will just have to wait and see.

Unfortunately, however, it appears Vacláv Klaus may have been appeased by the EU bureaucrats:

Czech leader positive on Lisbon

Of course, this simply means that Mr. Klaus has lost his present excuse to delay the treaty. Hopefully, something new may get in the way which will complicate matters for the EU tyrants. Maybe something like the following:

Lisbon in limbo as Slovakia seeks to opt out

I fear, however, that the Slovak leadership is not quite of the same calibre as the valiant Vacláv Klaus. We can only hope that all this, and perhaps a successful appeal to the Czech Supreme Court, might provide enough time for David Cameron to capitalise on his promise for a British referendum.

If not, then a scenario may well unfold as described by UKIP MEP David Campbell-Bannerman in his recent EU parliament speech:
